Danza al Sol
¡Es La danza de la nueva vida! El vuelo mágico para encontrarnos a nosotros mismos. La danza es el arte del movimiento de nuestras emociones a través de nuestro cuerpo, permitiendo que así el universo fluya a través de nosotros y nosotros a través del universo.
La danza al sol es un rito sagrado frente al árbol que representa la vida. Esta ceremonia ancestral de los pueblos nativos americanos se realiza para reconocer y honrar al abuelo Sol como fuente de calor y vida para la madre tierra y sus hijos/as. Durante este ritual se juntan guerreros y guerreras para danzar alrededor del árbol de la vida durante varios días en ayunas de agua y comida, para buscar visiones y curas, ofrendando amor y gratitud a nuestra Allpa Mama, nuestra Madre Tierra.
La naturaleza misma de la danza permite despertar la conexión con el abuelo Sol y la madre Tierra en nosotros, y así comprender los aspectos divinos, femeninos y masculinos en la vida. La danza al Sol nos enseña a mirar todo aquello que necesitamos ofrendar para que lo que no necesitamos en nuestras vidas se vaya y lo esencial se pueda quedar.
Para muchas tribus en América del Norte fue, y sigue siendo la principal ceremonia comunitaria espiritual. Este rito conmemora la renovación, el renacimiento espiritual de los participantes y sus familiares, así como la regeneración de la vida en la Madre Tierra y todo lo que existe en Ella. Esta danza representa la relación entre la vida y la muerte. Es un ciclo de muertes simbólicas y renacimientos verdaderos.
Zhuracpamba es el lugar que recibió la primera danza al sol en América del Sur en 1994. Te invitamos a ser parte de esta experiencia, a vivir un contacto más directo con la naturaleza, a crear una relación profunda con el tayta Sol para así ir revelando la magia que nos permite reconocer nuestro propio lugar dentro de lo sagrado.

This is a sacred ritual. A dance in front of the tree of life. An ancestral ceremony of the Native Americans reconnecting and honoring Grandfather Sun as the source of heat and life for Mother Earth and all of her children. This is the sun dance! A ritual of warriors dancing without water or food in exchange with the tree of life for healing and visions while offering love and gratitude for Mother Earth.
Allowing the natural flow of the dance to awaken the connection to Grandfather Sun and Mother Earth within us all.
The sun dance teaches us to look at what we need to sacrifice so that only the essential remains in our lives. For many tribes in North America, it was and still is the principal communal and spiritual ceremony, as a rejuvenating rebirth. The spiritual rebirth of the participants and their families also regenerates the life of Mother Earth and all that she sustains. The dance is the relationship between life and death. It is a cycle of symbolic deaths and true rebirths.
Zhuracpamba is the place that received the first sun dance in South America in 1994. The dance of the new life! It is the magic flight to find ourselves. The dance is the art of moving our emotions through our bodies, allowing the universe to flow through us and let us flow through the universe.
Every August we invite you to come and experience the sun dance, respecting and admiring everything around us in Zhuracpamba. We are in a more direct contact with nature, looking for our own experiences. Coming closer to your higher self, coming closer to the magic that allows us to know our higher self within the circle of life.
Danza Al agua
Esta danza es la manifestacion consciente de la alegria en reconocer la importância de la presencia del agua en nuestras vidas. Su proposito es de reactivar la relacion de reciprocidad con este elemento. Poder retribuir un poco de todo lo que recibimos de ella, teniendo la certeza de que ella nos escucha, se siente amada y respetada. En este rezo unimos fuerzas para pedir por mayor consciência a la humanidad en el cuidado de los manantiales, rios, cascadas, glaciares, mares y todas las formas de existência del agua. Todo este movimento universal de atencion a este elemento esta siendo guiado por la propia sabiduria del espiritu del agua.
La família danza toda uma noche con alegria, al sonido de la banda Yacu taqui, en agradecimiento a toda la vida, limpieza y frescor que este elemento nos brinda. Este trabajo se inicia con una oferenda al ojo de agua de zhuracpamba en el alto de sus montañas. En su altar principal, estan unidas aguas de algunos lugares del mundo contenidas en un recipiente. Cada uno puede contribuir al altrar trayendo aguita de algun lugar que lo considera especial. Esta danza tambien incentiva el arte con presentaciones de danza y teatro sagrado. Este rezo nace desde la intencion en el corazon de desear la felicidad y salud del agua.

This dance is the conscious manifesation of happiness and remembering the importance of water in our lives. The purpose is to reactivate the relationship of reciprocity with this element. To be able to give back a little what we recieve from Her, having the certainty that She can hear us, feel loved and respected. During this prayer we unite forces to ask for higher consciousness of humanity to care for the springs, rivers, lakes, waterfalls, glaciers, and seas and all other forms of water. She, the water, is the teacher for all of us, guiding us to come together. The family dances with happiness to the sound of Yacu Taqui all night long in gratitude for life, cleansing and refreshing this element and what She gives to us. This work is initiated by making an offering to the spring of Zhuracpamba located up in the mountains. On the altar of this dance there is a vessel containing Waters from all over the world. We welcome anyone to bring water from anywhere in the world to our altar. This dance is also an incentive for sacred art and theater. This prayer is sustained by our intention we have in hearts for the happiness of the water.
Busqueda de vision
El año de 1992 marca la historia de Zhuracpamba y del mundo, es el inicio del intercambio de culturas tradicionales de los pueblos originarios de américa. En este año acontece la primera Búsqueda de Visión de américa del sur autorizada por el consejo de ancianos del norte, 7 hombres y 3 mujeres deciden subir las montañas de Zhuracpamba y se disponen a recibir instrucciones de la naturaleza y encontrarse con su propio espíritu. Despertando la conexión con la Madre Tierra por medio de la intuición y de la entrega de sus vidas a ese rito ancestral, donde el buscador es encontrado por el Gran Espíritu en el camino de la cura y auto-conocimiento. En 25 años de trabajos continuos de búsqueda de visión en Zhuracpamba han sembrado más de 2500 personas de los 5 continentes.
La búsqueda de visión era realizada por nuestros ancestros y sigue siendo practicada en algunos lugares del mundo. Se trata de un ejercicio personal basado en la más auténtica relación que podemos tener con la madre Tierra. Es un tiempo donde nos comprometemos a estar en un lugar en la montaña en ayunas de agua, comida, palabras y contacto con otras personas, para concentrar todo nuestro poder personal y de esta manera integrarnos con la vida a nuestro alrededor, para aprender realmente que somos parte de todo y que estamos en igual situación en la vida, aprender más sobre el respeto que merece todo que es criado por el Gran Espíritu.
Tradicionalmente la ceremonia dura 4 días, un dia para cada dirección(leste, sur, oeste y norte). El Abuelo fuego queda prendido por 4 días consecutivos y sostiene todo el ritua,l recibe comida y agua 3 veces al día.

The year 1992 marks the history of Zhuracpamba and the world; this is the beginning where the native people of the whole American continent begin to exchange their traditional cultures and knowledge. In this year the first South American Vision Quest is authorized by the Council of Elders of the North, 7 men and 3 women decide to climb up the mountains of Zhuracpamba to receive instructions from nature and meet their own spirit.
The Awakening and the connection with Mother Earth is found through the intuition of the seeker which makes the vision quester surrender to his/her life, to be found by the Great Spirit in the path of healing and self-knowledge.
In 25 years of continuous rites of Vision Quests in Zhuracpamba, more than 2500 people from the 5 continents have been gone up the mountain to look for their vision.
The rite of the Vision Quest was performed by our ancestors and is still practiced in some parts of the world. It is a personal exercise based on the most authentic relationship we can have with Mother Earth.
It is a time we commit ourselves to stay in a place on the mountain fasting water, food, words and contact with other people. In this way we concentrate all our personal strength to observe and feel that we are in the same situation like everything else that exists on this mother earth and learn to have respect for everything that is created by the Great Spirit including ourselves.
Traditionally the ceremony lasts 4 days, one day for each direction (east, south, west and north). For 4 consecutive days our Grand Father fire holds the whole ritual, he receives food and water 3 times a day.
“A prayer of a woman or a man on the mountain will always give a resonance for the continuity of life on our mother eart”.
Caminata de poder
Desde el inicio de la vida la relación del hombre con la tierra fue caminando. Cuando caminamos conscientes sentimos nuestro corazón aliñándose con el corazón de la madre Tierra.
La caminata de poder nos proporciona hacer una relación real con los espíritus de la montaña sentirse parte de todo y asi poder respetar, amar y cuidar la madre Tierra y todos nuestros hermanos del reino animal, vegetal y mineral. Cada lugar posee una fuerza y merece ser honrado con nuestra presencia de respecto y amor. Los lugares gustan de saberse respetados y valorados. Los cerros son tan bondadosos que retribuyen un poco de su fuerza a nosotros. Así ponemos en práctica el “ayni” la energía de reciprocidad.
La caminata con medicina en Zhuracpamba tiene el propósito de mantener el equilibrio entre el caminar y el flujo continuo de energía de la medicina que flui por nuestro cuerpo reconectándonos a la madre Tierra y no entregarse al mundo de la ilusión. Caminar en estas montañas nos posibilita permanecer ancorado en la realidad física, funcionando eficientemente, al mismo tiempo que el cuerpo recibe toda la magia de este Santuario.

Since the beginning of lifeon Earth, the relationship the Man created with the Earth itself. Was by walking.
When having a consious way of walking, we get the feeling that our heart becomes allined with the heart of mother Earth.
The so called “Walk of Power” gives us the opportunitiy to créate a real relationship with the spirits of the mountain, as well as to feel as a part of the one and therefore respect, love and protect mother Earth and all our brothers coming the reigns of vegetables, animals and minerals.
Every place has its own energy and deserves to be honoured from us with love and respect.
Every place infact like a lot to be respected and aprreciated.
The mountains are so generous to the point to give us back part of this energy.
This is the way to express the energy of reciprocity, the so called “ayni”.
In Zhuracpamba. the medicine walk has the purpose to balance the act of walking with the constant flow of the energy which comes from the medicine working within our body, thus allowing us to reconnect with mother Earth and do not fall into the realm of illusions.
The act of walking on these mountains gives us this way the possibility to stay aware in the phisical reality, receiving at the same time all the magic from this Santuary.
Temazkal
El Temazkal es un ritual muy antiguo donde podemos vivenciar una recreación de la creación de la vida en la tierra. Representa el útero sagrado de la madre Tierra donde tenemos la oportunidad de pasar por un proceso de renacimiento. Este antiguo ritual proporciona una purificación completa del cuerpo físico, emocional, mental y espiritual.
La estructura física es formada por 16 varas que representan 16 naciones originarias, unas que todavía existen y otras de las que ya no se tienen más relatos. En el techo se da la forma de una estrella de 7 puntas que tiene relación con el universo y la memoria de dónde venimos. Tradicionalmente este ritual posee 4 tiempos, honrando los 4 elementos (tierra/infancia; agua/ adolescencia; fuego/madurez; aire/vejez).
Recear el útero de una mujer muestra la necesidad del hombre retomar este momento tan sagrado de gestación y nacimiento para tener la posibilidad de armonizarse. Como es de generoso el Gran Espíritu, abrir esos misterios para poder reconectarnos. No es únicamente una tradición, es también el entendimiento de cómo funciona la vida desde que fuimos luz hasta nuestra materialización, Es estar atento a cada tiempo de la vida.

The Temazkal is a very ancient ritual where we can experience a recreation of the creation of life on earth. It represents the sacred uterus of Mother Earth where we have the opportunity to undergo a process of rebirth. This ancient ritual provides a complete physical, emotional, mental and spiritual purification of the body.
The physical structure is formed by 16 poles representing 16 original nations, some of which still exist and others which are no longer here. The ceiling is shaped like a 7-pointed star that relates to the universe to remember where we came from.
Traditionally this ritual has 4 times, honoring the 4 elements (earth / childhood, water / adolescence, fire / maturity, air / old age).
Recreating a woman's uterus gives a human the chance to return to this sacred moment of gestation and birth to have the possibility of harmonizing our life. The Great Spirit is so generous to show us those mysteries in order to have the chance to reconnect to ourselves.
It is not only a tradition, it is also the understanding of how life works since we were light until our materialization, It is to be attentive to every time of life.
